The success story began in 1953, when the family winery Gallo Family Vineyards crossed the Carlo Rossi as an ordinary seller. Enthusiasm, energy and knowledge could not keep Rossi only in sales, and by 1962 he created his first line of Californian wines “Carlo Rossi Red Mountain” in unique bottles with a handle. He was both the creator, and the face, and the voice of his brainchild: he spoke on radio and television, talking about production, taste, and “highlight”. In consequence, these wines have become one of the most sought after collections of the plant. Speaking about the success of Rossi, it is impossible not to say about the winery Galla, because no matter how talented Carlo is, he would not have been able to reach these peaks without a reliable rear.
